Hard frost in the south. Patchy snow moving south.

This Evening and Tonight:

Cloudy in Scotland with a little sleet or snow in places. Further south it will start clear with temperatures soon falling below freezing. Cloud and patchy sleet or snow will gradually edge southwards overnight. Hard frost in the south.

Wednesday:

Cold and cloudy with patchy rain, sleet or snow in southern England gradually clearing. Some rain is likely to affect northwest England and Western Scotland.
